ROCIO SUMMERS

Rocio Summers is the Founder and principal at RSIBC.
Rocio is an alumna of Harvard Business School (GMP21), has a Master in Financial Direction (ie) and is a National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) governance fellow.
She brings her expertise in finance and operations in different countries in North and South America and Europe. Her passion for global business led her to found RSIBC to help business and organizations in their international ventures designing business strategy, financial organization and operational team and processes.
Prior to founding RSIBC, Rocio served as the CFO of Maxam North America, where she held the financial responsibility over 14 divisions in the USA, Canada and Panama. During her assignment as the CFO of MNA, she implemented improvements in the credit function, reducing working capital and improving Cash Flow; managed the foreign currency trading through derivatives; optimized the international tax structure of the North American operations and was a key member of the executive team and a strategy partner of the CEO and the Board, analyzing growth strategy, due diligence and investment opportunities.
Originally from Spain, Rocio is bilingual in English and Spanish and speaks French fluently.
Rocio has served on Boards of private companies and non for profit organizations. She currently sits on the Board of SelectHealth, Girls on the Run and Pilar Pobil's Legacy Foundation and she is part of the executive committee of the Utah Women's Forum.
